The ceramics collection at the gallery has recently included the new works made by Iona.  A collection of her functional and studio work is on show at the gallery.

The daughter of an North Yorkshire artist blacksmith, craftspeople of all disciplines would frequently gather around the family table.  Learning to appreciate materials and the hands that crafted them and enjoying eating together has played a part in her upbringing. She is continuously influenced by the relationship between food and ceramics.
